Greendale, WI—Martin Luther High School is proud to announce the hiring of DeMonte Bynum as the new Head Boys' Basketball Coach. A Milwaukee native with a career spanning over 17 years, Coach Bynum brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and a passion for Christ-centered athletics to the Spartan basketball program.
Coach Bynum most recently spent six seasons as Head Coach at Heritage Christian School, where he transformed the program from perennial underdog to regional contender. Under his leadership, Heritage Christian amassed an impressive 85-66 record, following 12 consecutive losing seasons prior to his arrival. Highlights of his career include:
· A Regional Championship
· The school's first-ever Sectional appearance
· A 25-3 season with a preseason Division 4 #2 state ranking
· Three players surpassing the 1,000-point milestone
· Multiple All-Conference honors for his athletes
Coach Bynum's impact has extended beyond wins and records; he is known for building programs rooted in faith, hard work, and personal development.

Coach Bynum attended Clarke University as a standout student-athlete, earning NAIA Division II Second-Team All-American honors and being named the 2007-08 Conference Player of the Year. He still ranks among Clarke’s all-time leaders in scoring, assists, and three-point shooting.
